oumh is a sound, video and metalwork installation created by Ariel Caine, Oya Kozacioglu, Kineret Lourie and Nicholas Stücklin.
The installation focuses on the perception of buzz and other sonic traces from infrastructure. Different types of microphones bring faint sounds from machines, electrical current and other sources in the exhibition space to the fore. Audiovisual models of the artists attempt to translate these sounds into a vocal expression, mimicking the hums, twirls and buzzes of the space through song.
